Gürkan İygün

He graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law in 2014. After completing his official legal internship, he completed his LL.M. in Economic Law at the same university with his thesis on “Tax Crimes and Penalties.” Gürkan İygün continues to work as a partner lawyer at Kırımlı & Partners Law Firm. His main areas of specialization are Commercial and Corporate Law, Real Estate Law, Tax Law, and Criminal Law. He is registered with the Istanbul Bar Association and speaks English. His scholarly article titled “The Scope of Application of Concurrence of Offenses in Terms of Tax Crimes and Misdemeanors” was published in 2019 in the Journal of the Turkish Criminal Law Association (peer-reviewed).
