Mustafa Aykut Kayaözü

He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2011 and subsequently began his LL.M. studies in Private Law at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences the same year. In 2015, he received his master’s degree with his thesis titled “Contractual Pre-emption Right.” He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Private Law at Kocaeli University Faculty of Law.

Kayaözü’s areas of practice include Labor and Employment Law, Insurance Law, Real Estate Law, and Commercial Law. Since 2019, he has been serving as a Qualified Expert Witness in financial and compensation-related calculations before the Istanbul Regional Expert Panel. Since 2020, he has been a certified specialist mediator accredited by the Mediation Department of the Ministry of Justice in the fields of commercial law, labor law, consumer law, and banking and finance law. As of April 2021.

Kayaözü has been listed as an arbitrator before the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC), and in 2021, he began serving as a Non-Life Insurance Arbitrator before the Insurance Arbitration Commission. He speaks English.
